From the website of the Ministry of Education: The Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia, together with the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Mikheil Chkhenkeli and local government officials, visited the newly built public school in the village of Zeda Sakari, Zestaponi Municipality and congratulated students and teachers on returning to the classroom.

Mikheil Chkhenkeli: “Today, together with the Prime Minister, we visited a public school built to modern standards in Upper Sakar and congratulated the students and teachers on returning to the classroom.

I am glad that the local students were able to continue the learning process right within the walls of the new building. Arranging modern school infrastructure is one of the main priorities of our government. Accordingly, the construction, rehabilitation and equipping of schools throughout Georgia will continue on an ongoing basis.

Similar projects are underway across the country as the key to our team is caring for our young people, our children and their education.
